WTB Autolite C7AF-12127-U Distributor
« on: April 08, 2019, 11:29:33 PM »
I am starting to tear down my fastback and making a list of parts that need to be corrected. I know it’s a long shot, but am hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction for finding this distributor.  My research indicates this would be the correct stamp, but it could also be a “V”.

Thanks!

Did you look in the library for distributors by year and engine?

I did and it reflects the same info I found elsewhere. Either one would work for me. Again, I am not holding my breath, but I probably have about 5 years before I will be at the point of needing it.

Side note...Jim, your workbooks are a wonderful resource and I cannot thank you enough for the time  you must have taken to put them together and sharing them,,

Bill, the C7AF-U is the right part for a non thermactor, automatic trans application it should be relatively easy to locate.

Your original post seemed to have doubts as to which was the appropriated distributor, so the library to aid your quest.

Sorry for the confusion... I see your point after reading OP.

I should have said I would also consider a C7AF V Distributor.

Thanks!

I have reached out to Dan Nolan and have posted on a couple other forums.  No response yet.

Thanks, I did not get a chance to look it over before it ended, but did talk to the seller. Upon further inspection it looks like it was actually dated 68. Ideally I am looking for Jan/Feb 1967.

The search continues.
