Lets see if this gets moved. What have people used for paint on the spoilers on 69/70 Mustangs. Just asking in general is there a ready made paint you use or are you using a flattening agent with black. please don't get to picky on which plant or year, just in general. This for a spoiler on a 69 Cyclone Spoiler II

Are you looking for a textured not non-textured final look?   Not really sure what 69 Cyclone Spoiler II came with originally and 69 and 70 Boss spoilers would have been shot with different paints.

They were flat non texture. I think flat, hard to tell over time.

For your application they likely used PPG 9295 originally

Since that is not available others have recently suggested

Sherwin  Williams Ultra U-12739

I've used the Hot rod black for engine compartments recently. TCP Global use to offer a PPG 9295 replacement on Ebay but didn't find any today when I looked
