Topic: 1969 boss 302 power steering index bracket?

was an index bracket used on the 69 boss 302 power steering-  if so what does it look like ?  1968 version? or  390/428 version ?-  thanks-  for a may 69 calypso boss 302

Yes there was an indexing bracket used originally. Looking for a picture of one

Could not find them listed in a later MPC and no good reference pictures (worry) of one - conditions aren't good for a clear picture of the area but did find a number of them on cars as shown by the two examples included below. Might want to try the Boss 302 Registry to see if someone has one off or a picture of one off to help you

Mike that index bracket looks odd to me like its had the side trimmed off & outer nut should be the thinner type from the way i see the photo so u may want to look at bottom sides of bracket as i never seen that type before? I dont have a 69 b2 here to look at but that bracket looks odd to me  (unless its 69 b2 unique only) just sayin.

Thanks Ed..... I'm not sure if it is correct or not.... This is the first 69 Boss 302 that I have owned, and I'm sure the PS pump and bracketry have been removed at least once before I bought it.  Soooooo all I can say with certainty is that I am not certain if it is correct or not!  Maybe someone else will chime in with a more definitive answer!....
