Does anyone know what the difference is between the Tung Sol Ford Etched headlights... there is a 4002 series and a 6012 series, the Rotunda box number on the 6012  series is R 12-D, and R 12-B on the 4002 series...

So which was the correct ones and what's the actual difference? High and low beams?

Here are the answers to some of your question : see attached from the 1967 Only Parts and Accessories Catalog (1967 MPC). The 1965 and 1966 single year MPC's are identical.

The "R-x" numbers are Rotunda's designations. Of course neither address any etchings or embossments.

So one more for my curiosity, what’s the deal with the headlight bulbs when they say High beam and Low beam on the MPC list?

Other Ford vehicles had two bulbs on each side: a low beam and a high beam!

More specifically, the "4-bulb headlight system" used a high beam/low beam 4-1/2" bulb in the outer or upper ~pending whether mounter horizontally or vertically.
The inner or lower bulb on the 4-bulb system would be High Beam Only.
Examples:
a 69 Mustang uses a horizontal 4 bulb headlight system.
a 66 LTD uses a vertical 4 bulb headlight system.
