Shift lever boot installation
« on: January 11, 2019, 04:38:16 PM »
Hi guys. Getting ready to try and install the new shift lever boot on the '66 convertible. I have read about a couple of different methods, from hot water to a heat gun to leaving it out in the sun for a couple of hours.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend what method worked best for them.

            Thanks, Pete.

Soaked the boot in hot water for a few minutes and it worked perfectly! You guys are the best.

                     Thanks again,  Pete.
