I found it interesting that the passenger side mirror is not on the car (front trim ring is missing also maybe lost on the transport or a worker needed it for their Mustang.

Of course we have no idea of which car this was or when the picture was taken - maybe an early "spy" picture of the "new" Shelby ;)

were the headlamp retainers(the one the hood lock support retainer bolts to go to) on the car before the garay out was done making them gray or were they placed on after the gray out was performed Thanks

My understanding is after - so they are semi- gloss black instead

So what became of those wheels and tires? Did they get sent back to the production line? Go home in somebody's lunch box?

Not sure what happened with those in 69 would guess that they might have been been reused back at one of the Mustang or Torino plants near by
