Topic: window fuzzy woes

   Trying to install the rear outer window fuzzy's on this '66 convertible. Got the reproduction set from Repops through Larry's, and it's just garbage.  Poor fit. High on the rear, low on the front. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a better quality reproduction out there?

Have to ask... original doors?  They usually install with no issues.  Have seen where removing old ones caused the hanging edge to get bent inward causing the window frame to bind up, usually an easy fix for that... just pry/bend back.

I've had fitment issues with those in the past, usually just have to center them to get the best fit.  If quarters have been replaced, might have an impact.

I also replaced the drivers side rear outer 1/4 window felt, but was lucky to find a NOS part that fitted just perfect.
By the way, there was a guy that had more parts like these for sale.

  Yes those are the pieces. Comparing the Repop's pieces to my originals, there is a big difference as to where the clips on the back are located.
 Car has original doors and quarters, so there is no issue there. They are just a poor quality reproduction.

I agree to that comment. I located a set of NOS quarter fuzzies for my recent project and they fit as they should. The repops quality in materials is good, just some of the fitment leaves a lot to be desired.
