Great thanks Bob. Regarding finish of some of these engine bay and motor parts what gloss level would they be. I was assuming slightly more gloss than the engine bay and the only fully gloss would go on the radiator. I find all of the references material to be ready Vaugue. It would be great if I had a visual reference if a car or engine bay as a guide as that would probably answer a lot of my questions. A restored car would be an ideal reference if possible. I have done some searching but would like to use a reference that is confirmed perfect for lack of a better term

Just curious Bob as someone told me that the heater motor shields were removed before the cars were sold by the dealer. Is there any truth to this by chance

They were supposed to be removed on the assembly line after engine installation, but from the number that I have seen on unmolested cars, I don't think they were ever removed except by a gas station changing a heater core, or something similar. The dealer didn't get any instructions like that.

Ah ok Royce thanks. Glad I got the story straight. Makes sense
