67 fastback side molding installation
« on: August 26, 2018, 09:15:51 PM »
I'm getting near the point where I'll be reinstalling the drip rail molding, and if I recall correctly there was (and the body assy manual indicates that there should be) a rubberized seal/gasket between 517A10 and the body.  Something along the lines of 0.88" wide by 1/8" thick.  I don't see one at my go-to NPD.  The MPC picture attached does not show it.

Am I right about this, and if so does anyone know of a source?

I've used the thin 3M black foam tape. Sometimes have to install two strips side by side to reproduce at least the area width. Not seen once installed

Believe there are a number of threads that discuss it in the 69 section for those over the window trim pieces

Some threads that might help a little
