Thanks for the pics Kurt but I don't believe that's a 67. Looks like a Boss 302 style, same as I have. Will work if you use the shorter clutch fork for a regular 289. 67 hipos used the longer, 12 inch, 390 clutch fork. Using this bar with the 390 fork puts the clutch release rod at a crazy angle. After mocking up my stuff it would seem that the lower arm should be more towards the middle of the bar, almost in line with the upper part. I started a thread over at SAAC forums and it has pics of what my setup looks like. I tried looking up the Tony Gregory book that Texas Swede suggested and surprise! It's out of print, not available, just like the z-bars. I have a few saved images on my computer of what were described as 67 hipo bars and they all look like the B302 style with the lower arm tight to the motor. Am wondering if Ford made the B302 style the service replacement and told people that they would have to change the fork for proper operation. Maybe that's why all the 67 hipo bars you see pics of are B302 style. Fun, frustrating, I don't know. Spending more time researching and hunting parts than actually working on it. B
