Front Bumper

Where the original 69/70 Shelby front bars stamped with a date/shift and stamping plant code?
And if so where is it found.

Just to confirm that the bar I am inquiring about is a front bumper bar so thank you for your replies.

Just to confirm these original bars where not marked is that correct?

I am not sure what a front bumper bar might be? I have never heard of that description. You have a front chrome bumper. The front bumper has no reason to to have a bar designation in its description. The front sway bar is the only part with a bar in it's description.  If you are trying to refer to the Shelby unique front bumper it does not typically have any identification or date marks ether .

Inner and/or outer bumper brackets perhaps?  A picture would help cut through the terminology confusion

I'm going to take a guess, his username is "6t9m1", a 1969 Mach I.

Accurate looking but not a Concours Restoration/build. See my build photo gallery at 69GT350 Hertz Build

This is the 69/70 Shelby catagory section so the default is to a Shelby and not a 69 Mach I regardless of forum name or avatar.

If you re read the first post it indicates Shelby whatever the description might refer to.

Yes we've seen it many times where a member's name isn't the car they are asking about or after allot of discussions on a particular car they start working on a new or different one ;)

Guys! I posted without fully reading the post I guess, and just admitting to it and having a little fun bantering with Bob. All in fun! I'm old and on meds and was just trying to help, just in the wrong direction. Please don't stop on my account. My memory is shot so I'll have forgotten all about this by next week anyway. On the plus side, I have the front of my Shelby apart (and other areas of the car), and can post pictures to see if that helps?

I'm too old to get mad or upsets about things these days... Enjoy life while you can.

Thanks Bob as you have answered my question regarding part number C9ZZ-17757-B being a Shelby genuine front chrome bumper.
I do stand corrected as I should not have used the word (bar) as this has led to a lot of confusion.
Jeff if you would like you could change my subject title to Front bumper to save confusion.
Thanks everyone for your help.

I'm going to go out on a limb here again and say in an asking manner that someone can clarify, that the 1969 Shelby front bumper was unique for 1969 only (and on re-vin'ed 70 Shelby's)? Is the part number stamped on it anyplace? I do not see one on mine but it has been repaired and re-chromed.
