69 gt 350 conv seat nut hole plugs
« on: October 06, 2010, 05:40:41 PM »
Did 69 convertibles have the seat nut hole access plugs ?
All 8 holes are about 3" in daimeter, I don't recall seeing them there before.

Which leads to my next question.
Are the regular seat hole plugs put on the inner holes ?
It looks like there were seat plugs applied here before as indicated in the attached pictures

Thanks
Arild

Checked my pictures and can not find any shadow that plugs in the support would leave from the sound deadener application on a Shelby or any damage to the paint around the hole that would have been made on a Mustang Conv that year and plant

Agree that the standard 8 rubber plugs were used as evidenced by the shadow that remains on the surface after their removal

Thanks again Jeff, I figured as much but thought I'd check with the experts to be sure.
