Is there a supplier of components to rebuild a smog pump out there that someone can recommend? 

Is there some place that rebuilds your pump also?

Looking for options to repair my pump that locked up.

You,open up the back and break the fins out and make it free wheeling. This is a old racers option that has been done since the cars were new so it can have the correct appearance. Of coarse it will not funtion as intended or have the horsepower drain but it will look correct. Just one possible option  . Bob

I believe my pump already has the fins removed.  It still locked up so it must be a shaft bearing problem. Is this common on these old smog pumps?

Doug Herr at Factory Muscle Parts just rebuilt a pump for me.  It came out great, the price wasn't bad, and he did the job quickly.

The bearings going bad isn't quite as common as the fins or veins on the inside the case breaking . Bob

For DIY buy a Cardone rebuilt smog pump 32-116CV for about $100.00, and use the parts
in your existing pump. Or, use the rebuilt pump, if casting date etc isn't important, and add a new fan and control valve.
