Fixed back seat interior rear window molding
« on: April 08, 2018, 11:33:46 PM »
The car in question is a 1969 sports roof built in May at the Metuchen plant. This car was built with a fixed back seat, but when I got the car I found that some previous owner had installed a fold down rear seat. My question centers around where the package tray meets the rear glass. In the box of parts I found a piece of molding with what appears to be (2) part numbers. The first number is C9ZB-63424A68-AW and the second part number is C9ZB 63423B80-AW.  I was wondering if this piece of molding with two part numbers indicates that it could be used on both a fixed and fold down rear seat?
Thanks again,
Qman

On non-fold down 69-70's there is no rear (plastic) trim panel under the rear window as there is on a fold down sportsroof

Package tray goes right up and into the rear window gasket
