TSB #99 - Increasing oil pan capacity on oil cooler cars
« on: April 04, 2018, 11:36:46 PM »
Jeff I went to the library and found the 69 and 70 TSB sections but that's as far as I can go ?  Interested in the TSB 99?  Increases the oil pan capacity to 7 qts. for the oil cooler equiped cars in 69 and 70.  Something I am doing wrong ?  Any help thanks, Brian

What you found in the Library section is simply  a section header that was placed there to add in TSB's that relate to that specific year as time goes by. Sort of a place keeper to keep things organized. There are allot of TSBs and not sure if everyone will ever be converted and posted there. But since you asked I'll dig out that particular TSB and do something with it based on you request

Looked but it wasn't TSB article #99 Should have noticed right off that that number would have placed it as a TSB article  from Jan 1965

Article #2322 doesn't seem to be specifically for oil cooler cars but is that the one you were looking for?

Sorry.  I don't know where I got the #99 ?  No that 2322 is dealing with dip sticks and is not the Oil increase TSB.  I have seen that TSB before and it also mentions an increase to 8 qts. for SCJ's.   May have been issued in early 1970 ?  Brian

It specifically talks about the increase in oil and oil cooler cars, i would like to see another tsb also, if there is one. I read it as 8 quarts too, but it is 7 quarts for oil cooler cars.
