You can do what they did at the factory (when missing or broken)
Grind the head off a pan head phillips, paint black and install or use these.....

Do you mean a photo of line workers installing screws?    Cause that I don't have.

I have photos (that if you can open with magnifying software) of my 56K mile car on disassembly  and after media blasting that you can see the screws.   In my case the entire driver side roof/A piller got them.

It is going to take getting a network connection and transfer to Photobucket - so let me know if you can use FAX VIEWER etc to blow up.

If you save the images , open with Fax Viewer (etc) you can blow up .

Not the best but all I have of 360 photos of the car before restoration.

There are pop-rivets which came by OPEL.
The moldings of the old Admiral, Kapitän and Diplomat are fixed like that ones on the mustangs  ;)

I get them from the dealer shop here in my area, but the problem is they are made of aluminium.
By installing them, they disform a little bit and further they are to soft, so if you try to push on the clip the get broken  :-[ :-[ ... so I will now use the repro ones with the phillips screw ....

There is a special tip and the correct studs available for use with a stud gun.  You might be able to borrow one from a body shop if you do not have this tool and want to replace the missing studs.

I have found that the reproduction clips sometimes have a hard time staying on the stud and instead of pulling the molding down into place, the molding pulls the clip up off the stud.  I would just get 65 style clips and stainless screws from AMK and be done with it.  In my opinion this is a better design because the clip will not come off the screw like it can with a stud.

Here is a picture of the tip and a stud against the nameplate for the stud gun for your reference.

here is a picture of an original stud on my 69 dearborn mustang.  they are welded on mine.  i don't know if other years or factories were different.

when i replaced my rear quarters i had to add those studs.  i used the special attachment for my stud gun which is shown by a previous post.

it takes about 1 second to do with the gun.  the problem is you need a gun to use the weld in style.
