So just to confirm, a SJ car built 10/29/64 should have the tower clamps correct?  I was able to secure a set of 4 from American Mustang parts LLC

I posted earlier a Feb '65 SJ example with crimp clamps, which is what your car should have.  The tower clamps came later.

Great info on here guys! Do we know if the barbed fittings on the radiator for the oil lines were painted with the radiator or not?

Not certain but they may have been added after the radiator was received at the plant and after the radiator was painted. Would invite out other members more familiar with this detail to share

Probably not. First, the fittings might get damaged in shipping so they were not installed. Second, they are shown in the Assembly Manual, which would indicate an assembly line step.

The 64 Chassis Assembly Manual shows either being used. That's before. More research required?
