« on: January 14, 2018, 12:42:02 PM »
Think I found a radiator for my 67 S code, but want to confirm part number etc. says C7ZE on it and on a small tag is G6 or a 9 backwards. Any thoughts? Heres a couple of pics, sorry I had to resize them a coupe of times

Where your car was produced would be relevant to the determination if radiator you found is the assemblyline correct one for your car.

The one you found is from a different supplier than the supplier that was used for San Jose in 67 so the location of the markings you found are different. Sorry.

One your looking for will have a FoMoCo in the top tank

The supplier (Modine) mark and date in the top tank. This location on this style of radiator is hidden under the top strap

And an ID tag on the drivers end of the top tank over the side strap. Did not check your application of the specific tag used in the picture. As you can see this one is in a air conditioned car.

That’s good though. At least I didn’t buy the wrong thing. And now I have an idea what to look for. The guy wants $300.00 for it if anyone else can use use it.

The part I found does say FoMoCo in the top tank. The part number is listed on the side and then that little tag with the G and the backward number

Don't recall ever seeing the little tag before

Engineering number on the side strap is typical for the supplier that typically provided radiators Dearborn and NJ. For the price and depending on condition I would think that a 390 is not an easy thing to find for cars from any of the plants
