Hopefully the black one is right for your car since all the suppliers carry them.
I would think the repros have the little V notch out as original, but easy enough to do yourself if need be.

Thanks guys, mine is a Dearborn car, and assume grey is needed.
Additionally to that end where do I get it and also the white 6" long snap tie for the fuel sending wire?

Doing a survey right now of my pictures for the producers. Most likely yours was the gray version

An opaque zip tie of the right size will likely take care fo that for you. Original unused ones are not easy to find when you need one

Is this the one on page 175 part numbers B-10981 or 351053-S?
The thing to do is check the Ford number against that shown for the zip tie in your assembly manual.
If it's not an exact match there's no point, just use a generic one like Jeff suggested.

B-10981 is the closest IMHO to the originals from what I'm measuring  if that helps

Its the same style (releasable) also

I suggest that you drop Ed a PM. Just click on "specialed" next to his post then choose "Send PM" under his screen name on the left side of the window

To others who might find this thread in a search about the subject here is another thread that might be helpful
