1969 Ram Air Shaker Top
« on: December 21, 2017, 10:32:35 PM »
Hi All, were the top fins on a '69 Cobra Jet Ram Air shaker painted silver argant or sanded to reveal the bare aluminium from the factory? What is acceptable in today's MCA Judged Concours Class? Thanks in advance for your advice.

First welcome to the site - Hope you find it all of help in your concours related endeavors

Top surface of the ribs were painted light argent. Using the search feature (an important tool here) using the words "Shaker Hood Scoop" turned up this past thread.

A good recent thread on how one owner accomplished this was posted over on the Boss 302 Registry site last year. Hope this helps
