I think it has been re-cast into a Mopar engine in or around 1981, and re-cast yet again into a few hundred brake drums and rotors before 1990. By now, it most likely is used as slag steel.
OK, seriously, I hope you do find that needle in a haystack...most likely, whenever it was removed, it had issues (not limited to being a gas-guzzler) in any event, it most likely would have been disposed of into recycling.
