Anyone know what '67 mustang application used a C7ZE 8005 R1 manual radiator?  Supposedly a 289, but not sure of any specifics including plant.  Date code is 7BC, so February.

Try http://amkproducts.com/Ford_radiator_tags.asp . They list a R2 289 manual. If a metal tag is soldered on the top of the tank on one side or the other then it is a SJ plant radiator if the info is metal stamped into the side strap then it is Dearborn or Metuchen

Thank you Bob.  I've never had my original radiator , so have been looking for an original Ford radiator with the  correct PN, but document "not" original to the car.  The C7ZE 8005 R1 radiator is for sale, so I've asked your questions.  The one photo that they do show looks like the Mustagtek photo for a C7ZE 8005 M1 which has wide mounting flanges as if the side wind panels would not be necessary.

Fairly confident that it'a a '67 mustang manual radiator, but will continue to work on finding out it it's a match for '67 A code San Jose GT.

Does anyone know what radiator P/N a 1967 A code, GT,  manual transmission, no AC, thermactor, standard cooling should have ?
