Thanks for sharing - and have a couple of questions

Where in the car was this one found?

What color was the car originally?

the sheet was found under the carpet, pass. side behind the seat riser, acapulco blue metallic, just the same as the overspray on th sheet. i will look for the pics of exactly where it was, i took them before i moved it or the build sheet.

Noticed the overspray. Seen others like this and would guess (based on the others) that the car had a flaw in the original paint job and the car was resprayed/touched up. In every case where these traveler/quality control sheets have shown up there has been some flaw or a need for something to be corrected.

Again thanks for sharing

When re-work was needed, did the car go through the production line again until it arrived at the station that performed the correction? If so might this account for multiple rotation numbers on the multiple build sheets found in some cars?
Rotation number for BP line
Rotation number for TC line
Rotation number for re-work

No not according to the workers I've talked to

Never seen, or seen evidence  (other than the usual - one for the first section and one for the final) of multiple rotation numbers assigned to a car on buildsheets other than NJ in 65-66.  Of which I was just made aware of

Jeff,

What evidence were you just made aware of? MY  car was built in NJ. I know I have different broadcast sheet and buck tag rotation numbers. Are you aware of another?

Charles sent me some copies of examples where multiple buildsheets have been found (for the same car) in 65-66 NJ produced Mustangs where each sheet has a different rotation number. Not something I've seen on later build cars or from other plants. Maybe this is something they tried and dropped in later production there

Interesting... were they identical in every other respect? How about the Stub number along the righthand side by the perforations?
