66 Hertz car - final stages. Spacer Plates and PCV
« on: July 02, 2017, 05:06:17 PM »
My research tells me my 289 pcv was attached to intake via a fitting on back of intake.  Was there ever any kind of carb spacer?

Any information is once again greatly appreciated.!

No used . PCV used fitting on intake runner. If you are running the Ford carb as is typical of automatic Hertz cars after #900 ,a thicker fiber gasket was used to compensate for the different size carb base plate compared to the Holley base plate that the intake was designed for. This was to prevent a vacuum leak.
