T5s as well as Mustangs build and sent around the world were built almost every year. Many export (non T5s) have been converted to T5s in an attempt IMHO as as told by owners, to stand out

Records of where each export car went to are not available. Ones built at plants other than San Jose often include the country of planned delivery printed on the buck tags

Is this true ???

One of my friends has a 68 T5. Apparently it was sold in Köln, Germany. Unfortunately the cars is stripped now and I don't think he will rebuild it again but.. Some pics attached..

Maybe a good replacement option for your other one if you do not fix it? If you opt-out of fixing your other 68, please let a few of us know over here before selling, if you don't mind ;)

Some might have a buck tag reading Ex W.Germany and T5. Most export Mustangs have DSO 90-96

Interesting - Export with a special order number. Wonder what was ordered out of the normal regular production items

Are those '67 door panels?  Any chance a '68 T-5 would have come with these originally?
Too much junk, too little time.

No. Looking at the pictures it appears that the car has been rebuild but not restored so I doubt allot of effort was made to create a car that look as it did originally ;)

Take notice of a number of things in the engine compartment such as shocks, lack of export brace, finishes, dist advance, egine details, engine color, radiator hoses, clamps, fuel line, lack of correct decals, shock tower mounts, ......... and a ton more
