Hi folks, My 1969 Mach1 Q code is missing this bracket. I'm trying to locate one, but I can't determine it's formal name. Any idea what it's for and what it's called?

It's a plastic "splash" shield for the regulator. Keeps wet stuff out of the electrical system, p/n C9ZF-10A506-A held in place with 2 ea 55876-S36 screws (poorly documented) as shown in the 1969 Osborn produced Mustang Assembly Manual. I recommend you get a set of assembly manuals for your car.

NPD has sold the regulator splash shield/rain gutter for a couple years now.  +1 Assemblyline manuals a must .
