correct pcv parts 390 4v

There was no pcv system on my car when i bought it. I am trying to figure out what are the right parts for the first section going from valve cover to back of carb spacer.

I have a 390 4v prior to 02-21-1969. A picture of a correct setup would be nice.

Hope this helps

Brass fitting (with one threaded end like the CJ) connects the PCV and the hose









Hose is the typical alligator texture hose between the brass block and the engine connection. Straight on one end - preformed at engine end

I did also find the manfield pictures but they are for the 390 gt. I could not find pictures of a 390. Maybe it is the same as the 390.

I think i will go for the model shown in the manfield picture.

Are you asking about a car other than a Mustang or Cougar?  Only S codes were installed so not sure what the issue is with the pictures (including the Mansfield ones)  is

Will check and compare the pictures and when each of those were built. As for your link I think its kind of odd that the picture shown as a reproduction carries the incorrect markings for the application and instead maybe a generic (cut to fit) service part. Notice that its marked Motorcraft ;)

I just i realize your picture's are from an S-code, i looked at the mansfield picture because it was more detailed. When i look at your pictures more closely it seems to be the same as the mansfield picture. So no difference between a S-code and a S-code GT.

By the way I have a 69 mustang mach one with a S-code.

Yes they are both the same engine.  Have a couple of friends that have S code Mach I's that are restored. Back when they were done we had some challenges to start out with since so little attention is paid to that engine compared to the CJ's  as you have surely discovered ;)
