Which vendor, in your opinion, sells the best quality reproduction decals (engine compartment, trunk, etc)?

Thanks for your opinion!  I'll check them out.

I'm rather surprised that more people didn't weigh in.

I agree with ECS as best.  Sorry, been busy with a seven-week-old kitten.

I am not at that point in my restoration however IMO all the decals in the typical parts restoration catalogs are coming from the same Chinese manufacture and I assume like most reproduction parts it's nowhere close to the original part. Most of the reproduction parts are such junk your almost better off with a rusty original part or none at all. I wish someone would start reproducing quality parts that are correct and charge accordingly and let the cheap skates buy the junk and the serious hobbyist can use the correct parts.

First opinion - DO NOT BUY A DECAL KIT. It will include all kinds of decals that are wrong for your car or just are not original

Many shops handle ECS decals or you can buy them directly but carefully go through their selection since not all of theirs are meant for all plants and periods of production

Yes, I agree Jeff, that those kits have a lot of useless decals for my needs.

I did go to the ECS website but was rather surprised at how few of the "normally used" decals that they have produced. A lot of specialty decals and wiring labels.  But for example they didn't show the air cleaner decal with 302 2bbl.

I will go ahead and order those decals that they make that are applicable for my car, but who do you folks recommend for the others?

I think all the other decals are pretty much the same.
I would go with Osborne Restorations or NPD.

Thanks Nelson!  How's the "re-restoration" coming on the Grande?
