Cleaning original colored dash pad
« on: February 27, 2017, 06:46:40 PM »
I'm getting ready to scrub my dash pad. As far as I can tell all of the discoloration appears to be grime.

What techniques do you guys use to safely clean these?
I'm going to try to to have to re-dye the pad if o can.

I tried some purple degreaser on a spot that appeared to be nicotine staining.
It didn't seem to touch it ....

You'll probably damage/dry out the material if you clean too hard.  Best to just clean it and apply several light coats of dye.
