I have a 1966 mustang with a 289 engine, power brakes and power steering. Currently both the metal line to the power brakes and the metal line to the transmission are connected to a fitting in the rear of the intake manifold. Looking in Bob Mannel's engine book he states on cars with both power brakes and automatic transmission there is a single line off the intake manifold that goes to the power brake booster and a special fitting is used at the booster to connect the vacuum line to the transmission.
Does anyone have some information such as a picture and part number?
That begs the question as to why a fitting exists for the intake manifold to connect 2 hard lines.
Thanks for the assistance.
