Door lock Grommets
« on: January 26, 2017, 05:19:52 AM »
Hi folks,

need a pair of door lock grommets for my 67. All the repro stuff is made of cheap plastic, but i saw some 69 ones made of stainless steel. Do they fit also, or does anyone know where to get solid ones?

Cheers Homer

The clear plastic ones are original and are what should be used if building a concours car. If you are building a driver the 69 SS grommet with the felt linner is a good choice.

Remember these cars (especially as they started out) were inexpensive cars with many parts shared with Falcons
