Hi,
Looking for a set of NOS Under Hood Harness Clips 67/68
Thx
Ralf

Your 11/30/66 built 67 should have all the type on the right, not the hoop-style secured with the louver mounting studs. The set pictured are your late-67 and 68 version.

FWIW, no Parts Vendor really sells a kit for the early 67's. Jim Chism used to make some but I don't know if he still does. Look for another thread here at the site on hood differences 1967-68. You'll get an education.

Thx for clarification. In GER only the pictured set can be bought. Nothing else available.

May be someone has some (pin-) clipses left which I can buy.

Thx

4 or 5 are needed for the hood style that OUGHT to be on your car. Here is a picture from within the other thread I mentioned.

You might ask NPD if they can get their manufacturer to assemble an early kit using the ones available as you have found already. FWIW, the VERY EARLY hoods used about 3 more than the mid 67 version (or 7? if I remember?)

I just also uploaded another picture to the earlier post. (red hood) of the VERY EARLY type, wiring does not thread though the hole cut-outs in the hood, the mid-67 hoods were updated, adding those holes and the grommets for the newly drilled holes (holes were added with a hole saw on the line making sharp edges that would chaff the wiring) Later 67 and 68 hoods had a rolled edge on these holes the wiring fed through, thus they did not use the grommets like the mid-67's did. Hope this helps ;)

As I said, I doubt you will find any NOS originals as they are quite unique.

Thats obviously my general prob. I'm always looking for very hard to find parts.

But....good used would be sufficient enough.

Another note: The available reproduction wiring harnesses for the hood are not concours correct for your build date either. You can convert them with an original to use as a pattern and some of the cloth loom conduit but nobody reproduces the original, early style hood harness at this time.

They will always break when you try and remove one. No such luck
