Hello all,
Merry Christmas!
I try to help my friend restore his 67 390GT Fastback. We having trouble figuring out which panel was what color or shade. It is a two tone Ivy Gold Deluxe interior. We have problem mostly with the rear fold downs and around the moldings and trims. Anyone has pictures of the complete Ivy Gold Deluxe  interior 360 degree?

I think we lost with this two tone interior. What was what color? Light Ivy and Dark Ivy?
I found previously this picture of the back, but it looks totally different...

I have a single picture of a convertible with some help.

Marty's example earlier is of a 68, not a 67 but colors are essentially the same.

NOT seen in any image so far:
1.) Headliner is a pale green (not same as other interior coloring)
2.) Dash panel ~ Light Ivy Gold (includes steering column and wheel where applicable)
3.) Knee Bolster (above radio & Glove Box) ~ Light
4.) Upper & Lower Consoles ~ Light
5.) Dash Pad ~ DARK, almost black
6.) Seat Belt Retractor Covers (coupe & fastback)~ DARK
7.) Seat Belts (webbing) ~ OLIVE
8.) Seat Belt Buckles ~ DARK
9.) Kick Panels ~ Light
10.) Seat Backs (Deluxe) ~ DARK
11.) Pillar Pads ~ Light
12.) Horn Pad ~ Light

This is a page from "How To Restore Your Mustang" by Larry Dobbs and Donald Farr that spells out what items get what color with a color reference, which unfortunately uses out of date paint codes. The groupings still apply.

I am getting even more confused.

What determines how the rear seat insert look like? i see pictures with curved dark insert and i see with straight full insert. Also The dash insert i see silverish, wood, and black colored.

Guess your looking at the convertible example and the 68 (its labeled that way fastback example in Post #2
All the other fastback pictures posted the darker centers travel fron the bottom edge of the bottom cushion to the top edge at the top of the fold down section. Deluxe has the little silver inserts. See text below.

Didn't see a wood insert in the pictures above did see the black standard but placed the following in the text "Standard interior (bottom three) follow the same color pattern as the deluxe so they may be of some help also"

Did you see that and/or just look at the pictures posted?

For your application (deluxe) the inserts would have been brushed aluminum

You have a 67 Fastback so the pictures Jeff provided are 100% correct for you.

The convertible picture I provided (rounded top corners on dark color) are what is found on convertibles and much the same as coupes. Fastbacks go straight up to the chromed trim. DELUXE uses the chromed button in center of the upholstery back.

DELUXE interiors would be the brushed Aluminum type (silverish as you call it)

WOOD Steering wheel is optional, NOT STANDARD with the Deluxe Interior. The wood wheel has been found in standard interior cars also from the factory (not usual, but happens)

I made it simple. i marked with letters the questionable parts.
Which A,B,C panel, trim what color should be? light ivy, dark ivy? one tome or two tone like on the blue öne on the picture??

+1 consider incoming light, angle or that light and shadows as well as age sine these are original examples

My apologies I posted a picture of a 68 two tone. I should have paid closer attention to what year you are doing.

Finding some original paint some where on your car usually is the best to have your new paint matched to. The old paint codes are useless.

This is my big problem. The car originally a Lime Green 390 GT Fastback with Ivy Gold Deluxe iterior. But when i got it the previous owners changed to all black inside and painted red outside... And we were stupid enough to start restoring it to this color scheme without decoding the car.
There is no evidence or whatsoever can be found of the original interior colors. We are totally blind about this topic.
Now i just see that the glove box lid is also different shade than the dash around it. Thats makes me going nuts...
BTW i have for sale a brand new black interior....
