Topic: Drip rail removal (1970)

I admit that I'm not the best tool in the shed for searching for previously discussed topics, of which I suspect drip rails is one of them. That said, can someone describe the process to remove the Stainless steel drip rails on a '70 Mach? I suspect the sheet metal underneath is a bit delicate (on my particular, pitted-metal car) and therefore I want to be careful and do this correctly.

Although as noted in manyc's post, your 70 will be easier since it's not all one big piece.

I've used one of the nylon weather strip bars/tools or the yellow thin pry tools sold at Harbor freight. Just want to move it along a little at a time so you don't twist the molding or from denting or marking it with metal tools or heavy hands
