Should have W-MO on the top tank and a date code.

Take a picture or two and post. Check the side straps for stampings unless you've already checked.  Any other small tags or flaps on the core edge?

May be out of something else we can help with "what should be" but yours is more of a "what do I have" question it seems

Agree with Charles that by the time your car was likely built they had started using the soldered on tag rather than having the ID numbers in the top tank but the maker and date would still be there

I have looked all over but will try again, did not see stamping and the soldered tag is gone, what would be a date code for this car, august-September, 65?

If there are no markings on the top tank or side plate, then it's not an OEM piece.

For a Nov 65 San Jose non-Hipo could be an Oct or even Nov 65 looking at my data

That is not the typical marker for radiators installed at San Jose

I was afraid of that with further reading on the forum, the original owner had an overheat situation in the 70's and he may have switched, but he throws nothing away, we are going to look at his STASH next time I go to my hometown, he has 5-6 radiators. has some neat parts. thank you for you're reply. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
