Will a C7AF-11001-B starter work on a 390 automatic if you change the 2 bolt mount to a 3 bolt mount?

Yes, the starter motor will "function" as original if you change the nose-cone. Did it hundreds of times in the salvage yard.

great thanks for the reply I have one thats rebuilt ready to go and didnt want to spend the money on another one if this will work
