69/70 Shelby front fender black-out
« on: September 12, 2016, 01:00:22 AM »
I searched but did not come up with a result, did the 69/70 Shelby's front fender support (the part that bolts to the front aprons) get blacked out and if so, how far? Otherwise would they be painted body color like the rest of the fender? I know the front area where the headlight bucket/grill are has blackout, found that thread. Thanks

Accurate looking but not a Concours Restoration/build. See my build photo gallery at 69GT350 Hertz Build

Body color . Just the far forward section by the hood twist lock brackets gets blacked out. FYI the grill and headlight bucket area is not black but a very dark metallic gray. Dark argent like used on 70 Mustang side moldings is a very close match.
