Brant: I've had these re-plated with good results. You'll need to screw a cap on the bottom and at the top, remove the brass nut and fiber seal, replace with a smaller washer and nut.

Not sure if it's correct for what you are looking for. Marked 100 on one side of the square and H6 on the other side.
You must exercise extreme caution when loosening and taking off the top nut. You have to keep the thread stationary while removing the nut. If you spin the threaded section you risk breaking the internal connection and rendering the sender useless.
any idea what the 100 casting into the brass end relates too.........?all of my originals have a stamping of 80 not the 100
