Rear Sway Bar paint Markings/Daubs
« on: August 27, 2016, 07:34:54 PM »
Have removed my rear sway bar to freshen up all bushings and respray the bar itself.  Removed the undercoating that had been applied and am seeing some green paint daubs on the driver side of the bar near the end  links.  Same green original green that was on the front bar and looks like there are 2.  This is a Summer of 1970 Dearborn build.  Anyone familiar with rear sway bar markings?  I didn't think the rear bar had any.

Boss would be the 5/8 inch sway bar I believe. Since there was a 1/2 inch sized rear sway bar on 351 cars, I would expect one or both of them to be paint marked?

I've got pictures and notes of original examples. Just need to know when your car was built and what engine and suspension package it originally had

Do the sway bars have part numbers stamped in them? I have a Nov69, Dearborn B2.
