351 emblem on a 1970 shaker??
« on: August 18, 2016, 12:32:17 AM »
I have done a search but I do not find a definitive answer.  1970 Dearborn October 69 built convertible.  It has the 351 in the hood stripe but should there be a 351 emblem on the shaker too??  Also, should the hood stripes go straight back or should it curve around the back of the shaker?  Thanks much for your help.

No 351 emblem on a 70 shaker car that I am aware of. I have a unrestored 70 Mach 1 shaker car Dearborn built 3/10/70. It has the wrap around stripes and white outlined call out #s.

Mustang country. Get the women, kids and Chevys off the streets.

Don't believe so

Shaker curves around the back side of the cut out in the hood. Bolt on hood scoop stripes go to the bottom of the windshield - straight back
