Reading through this entire thread I am looking at pics in Bob's post #7.  2 pics showing the powersteering lines from under engine compartment.  One pic shows lines routed from control valve over top of center link the other pic shows lines from control valve routed beneath center link.  which hose routing is correct?  Good post Bill, as I needed this info for near future! and as always great info Bob G.

The one you refer to as beneath the center link is typical. Also take note of the two armor clad hoses. They should be parallel to the ground. The position has to do with how the lines are tightened coming out of the control valve ,the positioning of the lines as they go through the clamp (which ever type),the positioning of how the lines are positioned in the rubber junction black and the one of the most important, the tightening of the upper pressure line to the lower because it effects the parallel position. You need 3 hands for that one to do it easily.

The P/S hoses should go under the center link.

Thought I'd tag onto this thread for related power steering routing in the engine compartment.

I had the pleasure of seeing this May built un-restored GT350. The usual caveats apply, but this T/E car has original paint, interior and the engine compartment looks mostly original as well.

Here is a shot of the power steering lines under the later windshield washer fluid tank.
Is that black tie wrap around both lines correct?

The black tie wrap is not original. If a wrap was used then it is the same cr?me/clear/white  color zip tie like was used for the Amp gauge wire and oil pressure line. I have seen the PS cooler lines with and without ties. I have seen more with then without.

Thanks Bob.
Those are some nasty factory holes!

I was replacing hoses today and snapped a pic of the holes in my core support.
