Should be a bolt hole unless sheet metal has been changed . It is shown in the assembly manual although not clearly.

I'll try to get a pic of my 67', though not a 68'. Maybe someone here can post their 68' pics , but i don't think there should be much difference.. The attached pic is the "general idea".

Finally got a chance to get a picture under my 67'. Although it might not be exact for a 1968, I hope you get the idea. And yes, I will soon be swapping out the kyb shocks with more original ones.  ;D

Some measurements would help as well.

I'd be glad to measure my 1967 GT 500 if that would help you.

Your hose clamp is backwards the hose should be to the out side of the bolt.

The hose suppose to past under the bolt ? Or you mean i just need to turn for 180 degre the clamp ?

From that thread I listed above - notice the difference in the orientation of the bolt and clamp to the shock support section of the floor

Not that its a big thing (just an observation) but also notice the the clamp at the rearend was clamped from the right (in the picture) might be due to access and a right handed worker (not sure if Ford hired left handers) or to make it easier since the brake lines are to the left of the vent nipple
