Jay Leno's Garage - 69 Boss429
« on: June 12, 2016, 03:53:37 PM »
Just got back from Los Angeles this week filming an episode of Jay Leno's Garage with the Boss429 that I just finished up for a customer.  The episode should be out in the next few weeks once final editing is done.  The idea was to create a segment that really highlights these cars and gives someone an idea what they look like sound like and drive like....the way they were meant to be driven when they were new.  Certainly a challenge in Los Angeles traffic but I think it turned out pretty good.
Sharing some behind the scenes photos here.  Alot of credit goes the to the video, sound, and photography guys behind the scenes who make these cars look amazing.  Without them this would never happen.

Good for teaching people about the Boss9, many don't know what they are, mine gets passed by at most shows for the glitzier Mach 1 CJs.
I don't always downshift, but when I do it is near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment.

Very cool to have been a part of that.  So is Jay a decent guy or a little more Hollywood? Congratulations on getting your skills shown to others.

I couldn't say enough good things about Jay Leno....what you see on TV is what you get with him.  Cant say I expected that, because not everyone in that world is like that.  He is really a down to earth guy and car enthusiast not afraid to get his hands dirty working around the shop.

That is great to hear.  A friend of mine had his 7-litre Galaxie in his shop when Jay was restoring his.  Joe said he was a great person and equally complimentary of his personality.  He does our hobby a great benefit in being personable and a celebrity.

See you at SAAC Andrew.  Looking forward to the show in Ohio....

And yes, Jay Leno does the car hobby well with his broad interest, especially with so many different brands.

Marcus,
I'll look forward to seeing this episode! Have been enjoying this show for several months now, but haven't seen much in the way of Mustangs. Great show though, and as you mention, Leno seems like a real decent, actual car guy.

Maybe post a Youtube link if it comes available that way...I don't have Cable and if it's not on Netflix or local antenna stations, I do not get it...but my TV bill is FREE plus the $8/mo. Netlfix bill and I since am an empty-nester with both my wife & I working, no need for cable.

+1, got tired of paying $90 for only one channel to watch (velocity).  We have Hulu, Netflix, and Genesis/Kodi
