68 front brake line installation ??
« on: June 09, 2016, 04:15:21 PM »
Hi !

I am installing my brake line on my 68. I bought a new set from scott drake stainless lines. Can someone told me if i put the 2 bolt for the front brake line in the good hole ? And which hole the rear brake line go ?

The other things, the front brake line who come from the passager side look to go to far again the shock tower .. Did i need to bend this line to go in the distribution block ?

Just let me know if the line are put correct , like one go over wich one ?

On the last photo , where go all this little lines ?

Thanks

We've got Dearborn 68 Small block 4 speed April 68 built from your signature - could you help by providing Drum brakes, Power Drum or Power Disc so that we can make sure we get the best match ;)

Was difficult to find any pictures in my files where the master cylinder and booster were out (as well as the engine) and the lines were still in place. Might want to compare the assembly manual drawings to the bits and pieces below

Ignore the PO changes  ::)

From your 4th picture you are missing a line. Top and bottom go from distribution block(top) to master. Middle two go between distribution block and prop valve. Should be another that goes from front port of distribution block to LF brake hose
