67 neutral safety switch adjustment
« on: May 31, 2016, 06:41:12 PM »
I'm installing an original neutral  safety switch(removed by PO).  It has two holes in the front, but neither go through.  I thought the adjustment was made using a drill bit through one of these holes.  I assume that I will have to do it by "trial  by error", adjusting it so it starts in neutral?

Shift trans to neutral and position  your switch to neutral too, the hole should be close to lining up now ...either that or there are scribes cast into the switch that are aligned...One of the two ways will pretty much cover all of your neutral switches on most of your Fords

I tested it first just connecting it and it works fine....I'll install it now, knowing it works.
