1969 AM Radio
« on: May 26, 2016, 08:09:05 PM »
Does this look like the proper AM radio for a 1969 Mustang/Shelby w/deluxe interior? Seller is listing the part # as 8TPZ, 1968.
Accurate looking but not a Concours Restoration/build. See my build photo gallery at 69GT350 Hertz Build

Can you post a picture of a c9za or doza so I can see if they look similar or not?

Here's a couple of C9ZA 's on ebay.

Thank you, so visually, the front, what will show through the bezel, is the same. I will also keep an eye on that C9ZA-18806 as my search did not show it. I'm looking to replace my non correct AM/FM with a correct (looking) AM, and have the AURORA DESIGN FMR-1 STEREO update added, so I do not want a restored unit, just one that will clean up nice and be able to have the update done.

This one would have been a good choice for that - good price too.

Got my $25 eBay C9ZA PHILCO AM radio today. $16.20 for shipping so $41.20 Total. Dont know how well it works, if at all, and it needs to be cleaned up. Still considering the FMR-1 upgrade. At least it is correct for my car.
