Search feature results using two words in 1967 1968 area of forum "difference, door" and came up with this thread: http://www.concoursmustang.com/forum/index.php?topic=13653.msg84575#msg84575

FWIW, the empty door shell is same for all three body types, each using different door glass only. (Fastback or coupe fits convertible if glass is changed, vent same on all 3) There are other nuances over the course of the two years but the above thread covers the majority known by most of us.

Thx Richard, I saw this.
What is not in there and what I'm basically looking for is where to find the stamping dates from the doors?  There will be an inner and outer door date for each of the major sections.
Are there some pics available showing these numbers in which area?
Main reason: I would like to identify if the doors are original or not.

Let me go through my pictures - collect some examples and post them to help out.

To keep things neat and unify the details I'm adding the following to this thread rather than placing it in another separate thread

The request was where are the date stamps located for the inner and outer door sections.

I've found the inner dates stamped in one of two locations. Date patterns differ from different production periods and the location of the date may be due to different dies and the location for the date ingot on each.

Outer skin date - look along this inner lip hidden by the vent window or outer belt line once the door is completely assembled (green arrow)  Purple arrows show where the inner skin date stamp was located

In an effort to keep details together I also posted the following to the other thread
