New source for Herco Contact Adhesive?
« on: June 14, 2010, 10:49:05 AM »
I've heard several members on this board mention a product called Herco contact adhesive.  From the pictures I've seen, it looks like a very close match to what the factory used originally.  However, I can't find any, even after being instructed to look on eBay.  Where's everybody buying this stuff these days?
Too much junk, too little time.

They have more sizes.  I would recommend buying a quart and use your own brush to apply it.  The containers they sell with a brush inside end up rusting inside and turning the glue dark brown.

I would agree with the brush note that Charles mentioned though I like purchasing the smaller containers. Yes it cost a little more but I've had a couple of these not seal well after use and they tend to harden so you  waste more with larger containers

Just a thought
