Drooping Sun Visor
« on: April 01, 2016, 12:00:04 AM »
I have a 70 Mach 1 and I've been having issues with the passenger side sun visor staying up.  The sun visor and hardware is original and I would prefer not to replace it.  Does anyone have experience fixing this issue?  I've already replaced the rubber tip and that did not help.

It's a common problem. I had some luck by removing the visor, pull the visor from the shaft and filing the shaft making it rough surface. The "pinch" method -

- now has something to grip.
