Looks awfully tight in the right bank of my 67 390 4sp ps Ca emmissions San Jose BD 5/67 What was the factory routing of the heater hoses with all the Ca emmissions in the way. Where special bent hoses used for this . Any photos ? thanks Lu

They weren't on the 67 Shelby so it would be my guess not on regular Mustang ether but others may know better. I hope to see you in a couple weeks in Columbus.

Bob, I hope to see you  in Columbus . This Ca emmissions setup is something else. I'm hopping a forum member may have a original shot of the heater hose setup.

Take it that you don't have AC.  If not would agree that straight - not preformed heater hoses were used. Have seen original hoses routed down the valley between the passenger side valve cover and the same side of the intake manifold. On small blocks I've found them woven to keep them together with all the other hoses running back to the check valve but can't confirm that with the big block applications
